Spark the Spirit. Creating a brighter future for students

For almost 175 years, Toronto’s De La Salle College (DEL) has provided children a transformative education that prepares them to become ethical leaders in their communities. Created by 52 Pick-up, the Spark the Spirit appeal seeks to raise $12 M towards the construction of a new Student Life Centre.

Spark the Spirit

This campaign strives to raise $12 M towards the construction of a stunning new 36,000 square foot Student Life Centre on the De La Salle midtown campus. Formerly the site of a hockey arena, the new centre provides future generations of students a place to meet, study, exercise, and make memories together.

Created in close consultation with students, parents, alumni, and DEL employees, Spark the Spirit combines diverse physical and digital touchpoints. The ongoing campaign seeks to engage, unite, and rally the school’s many audiences, especially alumni, driving fundraising efforts, volunteering, and goodwill for the school.

Web Destination

An all-new campaign digital destination —sparkthespirit.ca— supported by a revised and expanded Giving Section on the Del La Salle website drives the campaign. Importantly, the website experience explains why and how people can participate, providing them with both the motivation and means to contribute.

Digital Marketing

Naturally, the new digital destination also looks and works properly on all browsers and devices, especially phones. Like the campaign social media communication and email marketing, everything about Spark the Spirit is designed to make it easy, fun, and fast to engage and take part.
