The Landing

A master-planned community on Whitby’s pristine waterfront.

After several false starts, The Landing in Whitby by Carttera was released in 2020, a master-planned community on Whitby’s waterfront. This was Carttera’s first solo development and the challenge to overcome its rocky history was significant. 52 Pick-up brought in Milborne Group to sell the project and together we created an extremely successful broker campaign that saw the majority of suites (352) being sold out within two short weeks! This resulted from an aggressive campaign skewed exclusively to brokers through a robust digital campaign and lead nurturing.

One of our most successful tactics was the creation of a Broker Presentation that told the story of Whitby from an investment point of view. The Presentation focused on the viability and strength of Whitby as a solid community to invest in – a community with the need for luxury rental near the waterfront. It provided an in-depth picture of Whitby’s advantages including employment, education, transit, lifestyle and competitive real estate.

We also created a detailed brochure and website to accentuate all the advantages of buying at The Landing utilizing strong graphics and exceptional renderings that painted a vibrant picture of the lifestyle as well as the product. Brokers used both tactics to sell to end-users as well as investors, and the net result was exceptional.
